The Silver Sun Foundation is a family philanthropy dedicated to providing support for professional creative artists, educators, cultural organizations and social change makers. 

Established in 2017 as a 501(c)(3), the foundation offers assistance through grants, fellowships and community connections, and in July 2019 launched the Silver Sun Artists Residency located in Woodstock, N.Y.

All residencies are free to participants, and we are committed to the practice of inclusion and equity, and to providing opportunity for persons of color and other underrepresented voices.

With gratitude and humility, we acknowledge that we are gathering and collaborating on the ancestral homelands of the Lenape and Munsee peoples, who are among the indigenous nations populating this land.
